AUSTRALIA 

  • Australian Centre for the Moving Image organizes story circle, debates and screening

On May 16 The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) will be celebrating by hosting simultaneous story circles for schools.  The story circles will be led by Australia’s leaders in Digital Storytelling.  We will also be holding a panel discussion for digital storytelling practitioners and an open Show and Tell session.  On May 17 there will be a currated screening of the best digital stories produced around the country.

What? Story circle, debate, screening

When? 16 May – story circle and debate from 10am to 6pm, 17 may – screening from 10 am to 6pm

Where? Function Space, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square, Melbourne

(To share a story in the Show & Tell session please email a brief blurb to anna.svedberg@acmi.net.au by Friday May 2.  Participants can screen 1-2 stories, each under5 minutes, accompanied by a short discussion.  A DVD copy of the stories will need to be submitted by Wednesday May 9 to prepare the media for screening to:Anna Svedberg, Public Programs – ACMI PO Box 14, Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 8009)
